Pool compliance in Dallas works differently
Every public and semi-public pool in Dallas — apartment, condo, hotel, health club — needs an annual city permit under Chapter 43A of the city code, and permits expire at the end of February. Each permitted pool must also designate a Manager of Pool Operations certified by the City of Dallas itself, a separate credential from the industry CPO card. Then comes the spring pool sweep: from March through May, code officers inspect multifamily pools citywide, and most violations are classified life-safety with 24–48 hour windows to fix.
