Who this is for

North Texas clay soil moves with drought and rain cycles, and hard freezes crack fittings — both are common leak triggers in DFW. Summer water bills usually surface the problem; finding it early keeps the fix at a fitting instead of a deck.

Leak detection FAQ

Straight answers to the questions homeowners and property managers ask most — written so you can act fast in DFW heat, storms, and swim season.

How do I know it's a leak and not evaporation?

DFW pools can lose around a quarter inch a day to evaporation in peak summer. A simple bucket test — a bucket of water on the step, marked and compared over 24 hours — separates evaporation from a real leak. If the pool drops faster than the bucket, call us.

Where do pool leaks usually happen?

Skimmer throats, return fittings, light niches, and underground plumbing are the usual suspects. Shell cracks are less common but more serious. Detection narrows it down before anyone starts cutting deck.

Do you repair the leak too?

We coordinate the full path — detection, findings, then the repair scope. Simple fitting and equipment-pad fixes move quickly; underground or structural work gets a clear plan and timeline before anything starts.

Can you check a spa that keeps losing water?

Yes. Spas and shared pool/spa systems have their own failure points — spillway seals, check valves, and dedicated lines. We isolate whether it's the spa, the pool, or the plumbing between them.
