Repairs
Pumps, heaters, filters, lights, and the equipment that keeps systems running.

When something fails, you need a clear diagnosis and a fix that lasts — not a mystery invoice.
Home Builder Pool Pros handles common equipment repairs and coordinates parts and labor so properties get back online quickly.
What’s included
- Pump diagnosis and repair — priming, motors, impellers, and seals
- Heater troubleshooting: ignition, sensors, flow switches, and scale
- Filter repairs — grids, laterals, valves, and pressure problems
- Salt chlorinator cells, boards, and flow-switch issues
- Equipment-pad plumbing: unions, valves, and freeze-cracked fittings
Who this is for
- Homeowners with a dead pump or a spa that won't heat
- Amenity pools where failed equipment means a posted-closed sign
- Property teams that want repair-vs-replace advice before spending
North Texas equipment leads a hard life — 100-degree summers running pumps at full tilt, then hard freezes that crack anything left exposed. Post-freeze weeks and early summer are when pads fail most; catching a struggling motor or scaling heater early is far cheaper than an emergency swap in July.
Schedule this serviceRepairs FAQ
Straight answers to the questions homeowners and property managers ask most — written so you can act fast in DFW heat, storms, and swim season.
Should I repair or replace failing equipment?
Depends on age, part availability, and what the failure is. A seal on a five-year-old pump is a repair; a seized motor on a fifteen-year-old single-speed is usually replacement money better spent on a variable-speed upgrade. We tell you which side of the line you're on before work starts.
My pump hums but won't start — what is it?
Commonly a seized motor, failed capacitor, or something jamming the impeller. It's one of the quickest diagnoses we do — but don't leave it humming, because that burns the motor out for good.
Do you work on all equipment brands?
We service the major brands found on DFW pads — Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, and similar. If a part is obsolete or the platform is dying, we'll say so and price the alternatives honestly.
How fast can you get a repair done?
Diagnosis is usually quick; the timeline is driven by parts. Common wear items are often same-week. We'll give you a real timeline at diagnosis — and flag amenity-down commercial calls for priority.
